Hanakotoba - the language of flowers

Hanakotoba is a Japanese language which communicates and expresses emotions and intentions through flowers. Each colour or type of flower will have its own meaning and feeling, which can often be more impactful than words alone. This resonates with what I hope to achieve when photographing plants and the tiny creatures that dwell alongside them, that is to capture the essence of what I am feeling in that moment.
