Stories from the Tideline

All of these images were taken on walks along the tideline, mainly made on my smartphone camera they are small snapshots of patterns that have caught my eye. This is one of my favourite ways of spending a few hours, using a smart phone means I am free to wander without carrying heavy gear and can focus on the patterns and shapes that have been formed in the sand. The beauty of this type of photography is that every image is unique because every tide sculpts new and exciting mini landscapes waiting to be discovered.
